Beth Forbes is Head of Product Strategy for Morningstar Credit (MC), a subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. Beth began her career 20 years ago in commercial real estate underwriting. Since then, her roles have spanned the commercial real estate and structured finance industries including CMBS and CDO credit analysis, portfolio management, and loan workouts. Today she manages emerging trends, technologies, and partnerships for MC, which offers issuers and investors credit products and services beyond DBRS Morningstar’s independent credit ratings.
Head of Technology
Werner started his career developing bespoke software in travel, insurance, finance and digital marketing. Since joining DealX in 2016, he has been drawing on his passion for tech and data to help grow the tech teams within DealX. He is responsible for the security, compliance, quality and technical direction of the DealX suite of products.
Chief Product Officer, United Kingdom
Stuart has been in the financial software industry for over 20 years, spending most of his time developing securitisation solutions. Before joining DealX in 2010, Stuart led large development teams on middle- and back-office projects in the FX, money market and risk management areas. He has designed and co-developed several StructureIt products, working closely with clients and partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Currently, his key focus is Report Stream.
Kate has been a part of the banking industry since 2005, starting her career within the Information security and trading system production support. Following this, she spent 11 years in the People Function across both the retail and Global Market businesses of a Specialist Bank. Before joining StructureIt, Kate implemented a Corporate Banking platform to allow clients to execute both domestic, international payments and Foreign exchange settlements. In 2019, Kate joined StructureIt to help grow the People Function while focusing on culture and strategy implementation.
Head of Platform Technology, United Kingdom
Itay has been in the software industry for over 15 years, leading development teams and architecting software solutions. Before joining StructureIt in 2011, Itay worked in various fields including GIS, backup and synchronization solutions, gaming and social networks. Since joining StructureIt, Itay has developed and architected several products in the securitisation field. From 2015 he has lead a big data platform development and advanced analytics technology engineering project.
Chief Customer Officer, South Africa
Cath started her career in the field of energy and financial risk management software, specializing in credit risk management across both banking and trading products. Having worked in global sales and presales, she went into running the credit and ALM risk management software lines for IBM. Since joining in 2018, Cath has been working on key client relationships and client strategy to oversee the entire engagement with our customers to ensure client delight throughout the customer journey.
Head of Business Development, New York
Bram joined DealX in 2018 to help manage the company’s growing product line and North American operations. He began his career in the futures trading pits in New York before moving on to nearly two decades of managing content and products for some of the industry’s largest and most trusted capital markets data vendors. Over the years he has focused on debt, fixed-income and asset-backed securities, working in New York and Hong Kong.
Matthew has worked in the financial sector for over 20 years, covering areas from stock reconciliations and swap confirmations through to CLO monitoring and modelling solutions. Learning software development on the job at institutions such as Deutsche Bank, he has developed knowledge of both the industry and technology. As well as being a software developer, his duties include overseeing the day-to-day running of the New Zealand office.

Head of Data
Starting his career in the accounting industry, Prakash has been widely involved in the operations management field as well. He joined DealX in 2014 to help with the setup and running of the Data business in Mauritius. His passion for learning new things has helped him to quickly acquire knowledge and skills in data analytics and structured finance products. Over the years he has built a strong and highly competent team that is responsible for the timely delivery of day to day data services and the provision of high quality support to existing clients. Prakash is also responsible for the management of client relationship and trial running for new for potential new clients.
Co-Founder and Joint CEO, United Kingdom
With over 25 years’ experience, Tim’s background in securitization began with modelling some of the first European CLOs at JPMorgan before joining the EMEA Analytics group within the transaction banking division of Deutsche Bank. Since founding DealX in 2010 with Llewellyn, his focus has been on building DealX’s portfolio of fintech software and data services. His responsibilities are product development and client relationships. Tim also founded StructureIt with Llewellyn in 2006.
Co-Founder and Joint CEO, South Africa
Starting his career within the regulatory arena managing counterparty risk across debt and equity instruments, he has been working with technology within the capital markets since 1997 and has been based in London, Dublin and Frankfurt, before settling in Johannesburg. Since founding DealX in 2010 with Tim, his key responsibility is to define, plan and ensure the execution of the overall business strategy. Llewellyn also founded StructureIt with Tim in 2006.
Head of Finance, Risk and Operations
Josh, a self professed excel nerd, has been working in the accounting and finance industry for 10 years with exposure ranging from audit, financial system design and testing to financial management and financial modelling. Josh joined DealX in 2018 to centralize all accounting functions, to provide control and oversight over the Finance Function, ensure efficient allocation of capital and to provide access to key management information in a highly consumable manner.
